Invest in Yourself- Volunteering with a Purpose
In the last ten years we have witnesses and/or experienced an overwhelming trend in individuals that have served as volunteers due to such things as natural disasters or high unemployment. The communities that we live in daily strive on the use of volunteers in one capacity or another. Where would our country be without the work of volunteers?
Have you considered the benefits of volunteering? Are you looking to jump-start or reenergize your career? Are you looking for the opportunity to showcase your skill sets and make a difference? In this month’s Career Club we will discuss the benefits of investing in your personal and professional career by way of volunteering. You will also learn about the volunteer opportunities in the community and the SEVA ASTD chapter.
